The Collect All Pets! Lab is an advanced progression system described by community documentation as a place to complete tasks, earn Research Points, raise Academic Level, and unlock research upgrades. Community sources place it behind a raven-marked door in Rebirth Cave. Confirm the door, cost, task values, timers, and research effects in the current server.
Find and unlock the Lab
Travel to Rebirth Cave and look for the current raven-marked entrance or a door explicitly labelled Lab. Record the required currency and prerequisite. The community wiki historically reports a Mythic Stone cost, but the live sign is the authority.
Before paying, enter or preview the available information if possible. Determine whether the unlock is permanent across Rebirth or Ascension, whether Academic progress persists, and which tasks are currently available. Keep a reserve if Automation or another permanent upgrade competes for the same resource.
After unlocking, locate the task view, Research Point balance, Academic Level, and research tree. Take a baseline screenshot before claiming or spending.
Separate permanent and timed tasks
Community Lab documentation divides tasks into permanent goals and timed challenges. Permanent examples include large hidden-egg, Shiny, Collector Score, Gold, and Exotic Score goals. Timed examples include earning resources, score, or completing a Rebirth within a window. Exact values and availability must come from your current panel.
For a permanent task, confirm the progress counter moves after one eligible action. Then fold it into the normal collection, Gold, or variant route. Do not grind an enormous goal if the current panel no longer lists it.
For a timed task, prepare first: choose the area, clear inventory, equip the team, confirm the relevant score, and activate needed in-game effects. Start the timer only when the route is ready. Record the deadline and Research Point reward.
Choose research by bottleneck
Community material names Academic I research involving Gold, damage, magnet reach, drop rate, pet speed, player speed, and clone luck. Those names describe different parts of the loop. Read the live tier, effect, prerequisite, cost, slot rule, and whether the research can be changed.
Choose Gold or damage when crystal income is demonstrably slow. Choose pet speed when travel dominates, magnet reach when pickup dominates, and clone-related research only when the cloning or Metallic pipeline is active. Do not select a late-game effect whose condition you cannot trigger.
Spend a small amount, repeat the same route, and compare. If the tree uses loadout slots or a Lab build, save the current configuration before changing it. Exact slot count, cooldown, and respec behavior need in-game testing.
Build a practical Lab task route
For resource tasks, measure a compact area loop and choose the highest repeatable gain rather than the newest zone. For hidden eggs, follow legitimate map routes and track confirmed pickups. For score tasks, record the correct counter and choose a hatch, fusion, crystal, or variant action that can move it.
Combine compatible goals. A Gold task can overlap crystal and drop progress; an egg task can supply collection entries and fusion material; a Shiny task can support a Grotto checkpoint. Avoid combining tasks whose travel and setup cancel the benefit.
Check progress after the first few actions. If the number is not moving, stop before spending the whole timer. Compare verb, area, resource, rarity, score family, and whether the task requires earning rather than holding.
Connect Lab research to Metallic progress
Community documentation links advanced cloning research with Metallic hunting and names Recursive Cloning and Metal Clusters. Player discussions also treat Lab setups as situation-specific. Use these as leads to inspect the current tree.
Protect Shiny and Metallic discoveries before any automated or clone-heavy session. Record clone-related stats separately from Metallic Luck and Discovery Luck. Test one change at a time and check both the collection and score.
Do not copy a high-level player’s Lab build without matching their active task, unlocked tiers, and bottleneck. A configuration optimized for Exotic Score may be poor for Gold or pet generation.
Troubleshoot the Lab
If the door remains locked, verify the current currency, prerequisite, and Rebirth state. If a task stalls, reopen it and test one clearly eligible action. If the timer expires, do not assume partial progress carries into the replacement.
If Research Points appear missing, check whether the task requires a manual claim. If an upgrade seems inactive, confirm it is purchased, selected, slotted, and applied to the action being tested.
If a new Lab build lowers performance, restore the saved baseline. Reapply changes one at a time and measure the same route.
Frequently asked questions
Where is the Lab?
Community documentation places it behind a raven door in Rebirth Cave. Follow the current room labels and gate text.
How do I earn Research Points?
Community sources say Lab tasks award them. The current task panel decides the objective, timer, and reward.
What is the best Lab build?
The best build addresses your active task and measured bottleneck. Gold, damage, movement, pickup, cloning, and variant goals need different choices.
