Collect All Pets! Shiny Pets Guide

Hunt Shiny pets in Collect All Pets!, track official Shiny Score milestones, prepare hatch and fusion batches, and verify current luck values.

Shiny pets are a separate collection track with their own official Shiny Hunter badges. The safest route is to maintain a strong Gold loop, target eggs with missing base pets, protect every new Shiny, and check Shiny Score after controlled hatch or fusion batches. Do not rely on an undated “one in X” claim; the current luck display and actual server result are the relevant evidence.

Find the Shiny controls and score

Open the pet collection and look for a Shiny tab, skin marker, or separate Shiny Score. Record the score before the session and list the pet types still missing in that view. Keep base discovery and Shiny discovery in separate fields.

Roblox’s badge API confirms Shiny Hunter thresholds at 10, 50, 100, 250, 500, 1,000, 2,500, 10,000, 100,000, and 500,000 Shiny Score. Those are official milestone descriptions, not published odds or a score formula.

Community sources connect Shiny Score with access to Grotto and Shiny-related upgrades. Use the live gate and shop text before spending. The Grotto Guide labels the reported landmark and shows what to check on arrival.

Prepare a Shiny hunting batch

Choose an egg that the live pool shows can produce pet types missing from your Shiny collection. Clear inventory space, protect the working team and every known variant, record Gold and Shiny Score, and decide the batch size. Stand at the egg before activating a timed Shiny effect.

Hatch the batch and pause on each visibly special result. Confirm the pet appears in the Shiny collection and whether score moves. After the batch, re-equip useful pets and isolate ordinary spare duplicates for fusion.

If the current fusion screen shows Shiny eligibility or a Shiny-related roll, test one low-risk batch. The official description confirms fusion into higher rarity but not variant inheritance. Protect an existing Shiny until the preview clearly shows what happens to it.

Improve the limiting step

If attempts are limited by Gold, use a compact crystal route and Gold Farming before buying more eggs. If sorting consumes most of a boost, reduce batch size and organize protection first. If the egg repeats pet types whose Shiny skins you already own, choose another supported source.

If the live upgrade tree displays Shiny Luck, record its current value and the exact resource cost. Buy one level only when Shiny attempts, rather than Gold or inventory, are the bottleneck. Compare a meaningful batch without declaring a precise probability from a small sample.

Community material reports Grotto as an area tied to Shiny Score and a Shiny Luck upgrade. Treat the relationship as a route lead. A current sign, counter, or shop description is required before using any exact gate or price.

Track Shiny Score accurately

Use one row per pet type with normal discovery, Shiny discovery, source egg, last checked date, and score change. Leave unknown fields empty. A score increase can confirm that a new skin counted; no increase may mean the skin was already discovered, the wrong tab is open, or the UI has not refreshed.

Do not combine Shiny Score with Pet Score, Metallic Score, Giant Score, or Shiny Giant Score. Official badge families distinguish all of them. When a door names Shiny Score, show that exact counter rather than a larger unrelated collection total.

Use the next official badge threshold as a checkpoint. Continue the normal collection loop between focused sessions so base-Dex gaps, Gold, fusion material, and quests also move.

Visual route reference

This community walkthrough is useful for recognizing the Shiny Score panel and the Grotto route. Treat interface positions and thresholds as a historical visual reference and compare them with your current server.

Recover from a dry or confusing session

If no Shiny appears, confirm the effect is active, the egg produces eligible pet types, and inventory has space. Do not assume the game is broken after a short unlucky sample. Compare the displayed luck and score, then either run a larger prepared batch or return to Gold progression.

If a Shiny is obtained but not visible, reopen the correct collection tab, search the base pet, and verify whether it was already discovered. If fusion selected a protected variant, cancel before confirming and rebuild the batch manually.

If Grotto remains locked, check the exact counter name and live requirement. Community reports and older videos are not a substitute for the current sign.

Frequently asked questions

How do I get Shiny pets?

Use the current egg and fusion systems while tracking Shiny-specific results and luck. Public sources support repeated hatch and fusion routes, but exact odds require the live game.

What is Shiny Score for?

It drives official Shiny Hunter badges and is associated by community sources with Shiny progression gates and upgrades. The current UI decides each use.

Does a Shiny automatically become Metallic or Giant?

No automatic relationship should be assumed. Metallic, Giant, and Shiny Giant have separate mechanics and official score tracks.
