Prepare a safe fusion batch
Open the pet inventory and identify three groups: the active Gold-farming team, newly discovered or special variants, and true spare duplicates. Lock or protect the first two groups if the interface supports it. Never assume an auto-selection tool understands your collection goal.
Check inventory capacity before hatching a large batch. Fusion works best when you can sort results without rushing. Record the rarity you are targeting, the number of eligible spares, and the score or Dex entry you hope to gain. If the goal is vague, hatch or farm until a specific upgrade path is visible.
Community guides commonly describe five pets feeding one higher-rarity result. Treat that as Community reported, not a permanent rule. Count the slots shown by your current fusion interface and read any changing result preview before confirming.
Run one controlled fusion
Select pets of the same eligibility group only if the live screen permits them. Inspect every selected name, rarity, variant marker, power value, and protection state. If the output area shows a possible rarity or luck effect, capture it before pressing the final button.
Confirm one batch, then pause. Find the output in the inventory, compare its rarity and power, and check whether a new collection entry or score registered. Note whether equipped pets remained unchanged. This result is more valuable than an old formula because it describes your current server and account state.
Repeat only after the first result matches the visible rules. If the output is surprising, stop large-batch fusion and test with lower-value spares. Do not chase a lucky result by sacrificing the team that funds the next set of eggs.
Decide what belongs in the fusion pool
Ordinary duplicates that are weaker than the protected working team are the clearest candidates. A duplicate may still be worth keeping if it fills a future input band, supports a quest, or acts as a reserve while stronger pets are reassigned.
New species belong in the Dex first. Open the Pet List and confirm the entry before using it. Variant pets need extra caution because Shiny, Metallic, Giant, and Shiny Giant have separate official badge families. The live fusion screen must show how a variant is treated; do not infer inheritance from the base pet.
High-power pets should be fused only when the expected output clearly improves the working team or collection goal. Compare crystal break time after the result. A rarer label does not help if the new team slows Gold production and prevents further hatching.
Balance fusion with egg spending
Fusion consumes pets rather than Gold directly, but every input represents hatch time and currency. Choose an egg route that supplies the rarity band you need without emptying the balance. Earlier eggs can be efficient when they fill missing entries and create a predictable spare pool; later eggs may reduce the number of rarity steps.

Do not activate a timed luck or Gold effect until sorting is complete. Prepare the eligible pool, choose the egg, stand near the relevant station, and only then use the boost. Exact stacking between egg luck, fuse luck, or code effects must be read from current labels.
Use fusion for collection progress
The official description connects fusion with higher rarity, so a fusion batch can serve both power and Dex goals. Before the batch, record missing entries in the next rarity. Afterward, check whether the result is genuinely new and which score changed.
When the same output repeats, switch the input source or work on missing base pets instead of feeding unlimited batches into one narrow route. Community tables can suggest what exists, but the live collection panel decides whether a pet remains missing in the current build.

Troubleshoot a failed or blocked fusion
If a pet cannot be selected, check whether it is equipped, locked, a different rarity, or a special variant. Clear the selection and add one candidate at a time. If the confirm control remains disabled, compare the number and type of filled slots with the instruction shown on screen.
If the wrong pet was selected but not yet confirmed, cancel and rebuild the batch. If the fusion already completed, do not submit more batches while searching. Reopen inventory, equip the best remaining team, and restore the Gold loop before deciding what to do next.
If score does not change, confirm that the output was a new discovery and that you are reading the correct counter. Reopen the collection panel once. A duplicate higher-rarity pet may improve power without creating a new score entry.
