Collect All Pets! tracks Shiny, Metallic, Giant, and Shiny Giant as distinct variant families. Roblox’s official badge records include separate score milestones for each family, which is strong evidence that they should be planned and measured separately. The official public description does not publish the odds, damage multipliers, prerequisites, or score formula, so use this hub to choose a route and the live UI to confirm every spend.

Choose a variant route

Start with the Shiny Pets Guide if your interface shows Shiny Score or your next visible gate references Shinies. Shiny progress grows from repeated collection activity, so it fits naturally into the normal egg and fusion loop. Protect new Shiny discoveries until the score panel updates and you understand how the current fusion screen treats them.

Use the Metallic Pets Guide when Metallic Score, Metallic Luck, or a clearly named Metallic mechanic appears. Community references connect Metallic hunting with Shiny progress, later upgrades, cloning, and Lab decisions, but exact relationships can change. Treat every displayed prerequisite and luck value as local to the current server.

Open the Giant Pets Guide when the Giant mechanic becomes visible. Community documentation describes Titanium preparation and a Penta-Strike trigger, while the official Giant Hunter badges verify that Giant Score is real. The guide keeps the reported route useful without turning it into an official probability claim.

Shiny Giant stays inside the Giant guide. It has an official badge family, but creating another navigation page would split one closely connected late-game operation. Track Shiny Giant Score separately even while following the Giant route.

Keep four records, not one vague rarity note

For each pet type you are actively hunting, record the normal discovery, Shiny discovery, strongest Metallic state visible to you, Giant skin, and Shiny Giant skin. Leave a field blank when the interface does not expose it. A blank cell is more useful than a guessed checkmark because it tells you exactly what to inspect during the next hatch, fusion, clone, or mining cycle.

Also record the score before and after a confirmed new variant. This is the safest way to learn what the current build counts without relying on a formula copied from an older guide. If the score does not move, check whether the discovery was truly new, whether the correct variant tab is open, and whether the UI needs to be reopened.

Build one session around one bottleneck

Before activating any timed boost, decide which variant family you are targeting and what action can produce progress. Clear inventory space, protect valuable pets, choose the egg or area, and confirm that your Gold loop can sustain repeated attempts. A boost is wasted when half its duration is spent reorganizing menus.

For Shiny hunting, the bottleneck may be hatch volume, fusion volume, Gold income, or missing coverage. For Metallic, it may be access to the mechanic, clone-related preparation, or a later upgrade. For Giant, it may be Titanium eligibility or the reported strike trigger. Name the bottleneck and improve only the system that directly changes it.

Compare results over a meaningful batch rather than one lucky or unlucky event. Record attempts, new discoveries, score movement, and the displayed luck value. Do not reverse-engineer a published probability from a handful of personal outcomes. The game may apply hidden state, rounding, boost stacking, or eligibility filters that the public description does not explain.

Balance variants with ordinary progress

Variant hunting still consumes the same economy that supports eggs, areas, quests, and resets. Keep the working team strong enough to generate Gold while the collection hunt runs. A visually rare variant that weakens the active team can slow every later attempt unless it unlocks a meaningful score or upgrade.

Alternate focused variant sessions with general collection sessions. General hatching can fill base-Dex gaps, create fusion material, and fund later attempts. Focused sessions use the relevant egg, area, or machine after preparation is complete. This avoids long stretches where neither power nor collection changes.

Check badge progress as an external milestone, not as proof of an acquisition formula. Official badges verify thresholds such as early Shiny, Metallic, Giant, and Shiny Giant scores, but a badge description does not reveal how each skin is rolled or how damage is calculated.

Recover from a stalled hunt

If no new Shiny appears, confirm that the chosen egg or fusion operation can produce the needed pet type, that your inventory can accept the result, and that a displayed Shiny boost is actually active. If the same already-discovered skins repeat, switch toward missing base pets or a different supported egg rather than continuing blindly.

If Metallic progress stalls, inspect the currently visible Metallic and cloning upgrades. Community advice often assumes late-game Lab or Grove progress that a newer account has not reached. Do not buy a reported prerequisite until the live upgrade tree shows that connection.

If Giant attempts do not produce a roll, verify the live trigger and pet-type eligibility first. A community guide may describe Penta-Strike and Titanium, but a renamed or changed system should be followed as displayed. If a Giant appears but Shiny Giant does not, remember that the official badges treat them as separate milestones; success in one track does not guarantee the other.

Frequently asked questions

Are Shiny, Metallic, and Giant only cosmetic?

Do not assume that. Community sources describe power relationships, and the game tracks separate scores, but exact damage multipliers must be read from the current UI or tested against comparable targets.

Which variant should I chase first?

Chase the first family your current UI exposes and that complements your normal hatch-and-fuse loop. For many players that is Shiny, followed later by Metallic and Giant systems.

Does Shiny luck also improve Metallic or Giant luck?

Not automatically. Treat each named luck stat as separate unless the live upgrade text explicitly links them.

Is Shiny Giant a separate page?

No. It is covered in the Giant guide because it shares the same late-game route, while its score and official badges remain separate.
