Rebirth is a long-term Collect All Pets! reset with its own official Rebirther badge family. Community documentation associates it with Rebirth Cave, Mythic Stones, collection rebuilding, and permanent upgrade branches. The current confirmation panel decides what resets, what remains, and what you earn. Never trigger it from an old checklist alone.
Confirm you are ready to Rebirth
Enter Rebirth Cave through the legitimate live route and locate the shrine or Rebirth control. Community sources describe lighting four torches before interacting with the center, but follow the current prompts if the room differs.
Open the confirmation without accepting. Record the exact eligibility requirement, reward, currencies lost or kept, pet and score behavior, upgrades retained, and any warning about active tasks or boosts. Close the panel and compare those fields with your current account.
Community documentation historically describes a base collection requirement and Mythic Stones related to Mythical pets in the current run. Those details are Community reported and may be stale. Use the live reward preview for the decision.
Finish a pre-Rebirth pass
Record Pet Score, Total Pet Score, variant scores, Gold, Mythic Stones, Exotic Crystal Score, Research Points, active quests, Lab tasks, equipped pets, protected pets, areas, and upgrades. A screenshot of the main collection and reset panels is enough to compare the next run.
Claim completed quests and visible rewards. Finish only hatches or fusions that add a meaningful discovery, badge, or reward before the reset. Do not spend permanent resources merely to make the temporary balance look tidy.
If the confirmation says Gold or another temporary value will reset, decide whether one purposeful egg, upgrade, or collection attempt is worth the remaining time. Stop when the marginal action no longer improves the Rebirth reward or future route.
Choose the next permanent improvement
Before resetting, inspect the current Rebirth upgrade tree and pick one target. Community pages name branches involving cheaper eggs, hatch speed, Gold, quest difficulty or luck, egg and fuse luck, starting pets, damage, magnet range, pet speed, drops, discovery, and later advanced resources. Treat every name, cost, cap, and prerequisite as live-game data.
Choose the branch that reduces a measured delay. If the next run stalls before the first useful egg batch, an egg-economy improvement may help. If crystals dominate the cycle, damage or pet speed may help. If drops remain out of reach, magnet or drop-related progress may matter.
Do not divide scarce Mythic Stones across branches without reaching a useful effect. Trace the visible prerequisites, record the total current cost, and keep a reserve when a Lab or machine unlock is the next goal.
Rebuild and measure the next run
After confirming Rebirth, verify the actual reward and retained state before moving. Re-equip the best available pets, locate the starting egg, and rebuild the basic hatch-crystal-Gold-fusion loop. Follow the Beginner Guide if the early route feels unfamiliar after upgrades change it.
Measure time to the first stable team, first useful egg tier, first familiar area, and next Rebirth-ready state. Compare those values with the pre-reset record. A Rebirth is productive when the chosen upgrade shortens an intended part of this route or opens a planned system.
If progress is not faster, read the upgrade description again. The effect may apply to drops rather than direct Gold, pets rather than player movement, or luck rather than guaranteed results.
Track official Rebirther badges
The current official sequence is 1, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100, 200, 500, 1,000, and 2,000 Rebirths. Roblox also retains older Ascended Rebirther (Legacy) at 2,500 and Mythical Rebirther (Legacy) at 5,000. Do not merge the Legacy pair into the current sequence.
Use badges as checkpoints, not a reason to reset inefficiently. The badge API does not publish a gameplay reward or optimal strategy. See Rebirth Badges for IDs, dates, and the current/Legacy distinction.
Troubleshoot a bad reset loop
If the shrine does not activate, verify every current requirement and interaction in the room. If the reward differs from expectation, use the value shown by the confirmation and stop relying on the old table.
If the next run is much slower, confirm retained upgrades, equipped pets, and area access. If a permanent upgrade appears missing, rejoin once and check the tree before spending again. If a Lab task or timed effect vanished, compare it with the reset warning you recorded.
Frequently asked questions
When is the best time to Rebirth?
When the live reward funds a planned permanent improvement and the remaining current-run actions add less value than starting the stronger next cycle.
What do I keep after Rebirth?
Read the current confirmation. Community tables can guide what to inspect, but retained pets, scores, Gold, currencies, upgrades, and tasks are update-sensitive.
Are Rebirth and Ascension the same?
No. Roblox tracks Rebirther and Ascender badges separately. Use the Ascension guide for that distinct action.
