Pet Score is a collection milestone used by official Collect All Pets! badges and community-documented progression gates. Roblox publishes exact Pet Collector badge thresholds, but it does not publish the formula for adding score. Keep Pet Score, Total Pet Score, and variant-specific scores separate, and use before-and-after checks to learn what your current server counts.
Identify the counter first
Open the collection or score interface and copy the label exactly. Pet Score may describe current collection progress. Total Pet Score is named separately in community progression references. Shiny, Metallic, Giant, Shiny Giant, and Exotic Crystal scores each have their own official badge families.
When a gate or machine requires a score, match its wording to the corresponding counter. A large Total Pet Score does not automatically satisfy a Pet Score gate, and Shiny Score should not be substituted for ordinary Pet Score. Screenshot the gate and counter together when troubleshooting.
Do not use “Collector Score” as a universal synonym without checking the live label. Community discussions sometimes use broad terms that can hide which value actually changed.
Use the official Pet Collector milestones
Roblox’s current badge descriptions list: Novice at 50, Apprentice at 100, Intermediate at 150, Advanced at 200, Master at 250, Epic at 1,000, Legendary at 10,000, Prodigious at 100,000, Ascended at 1,000,000, and Mythical at 10,000,000 Pet Score.

Set the next badge as a checkpoint, not the only goal. Choose hatches and fusions that also strengthen Gold farming or prepare the next area. This keeps the score climb productive even when one missing pet takes time.
Test what changes Pet Score
Record the starting Pet Score, acquire exactly one clearly new base discovery, reopen the panel, and record the result. Repeat separately for a higher rarity, fusion result, and variant. Do not run a large hatch batch when trying to identify the contribution of one event.
If a duplicate does not move the score, that is useful information for the current state; do not generalize it to every rarity or variant without another controlled check. If a new pet appears but the number stays fixed, verify the correct collection tab and let the UI refresh.
Keep the date and server context beside the observation. A future update may change a formula or reclassify entries. Never present a short personal sample as an official scoring rule.
Increase score through collection
Open the Pet List and choose one missing band. Inspect the live egg pool, buy a sustainable batch, and confirm new discoveries before fusion. Record the score after the batch and preserve every new entry until it registers.
Use Eggs to compare purchase, quest, scattered, and hourly sources. A cheaper egg with many missing entries can advance score more efficiently than a later expensive egg filled with duplicates.
Fusion can reach higher rarities and fill gaps, but protect the working team and variants first. Read the current preview, test one controlled batch, and compare the score. If repeated outputs are already known, change the source or collection target rather than consuming endless duplicates.
Use score gates safely
Community documentation connects ordinary collection progress to Rebirth Cave and Total Pet Score to later Factory access, but exact current requirements must be read at the door. The Rebirth Cave Guide shows how to audit the entrance without assuming an old value.
Before spending to reach a gate, confirm the destination has a feature you can use. A score threshold may grant access while a machine inside requires another currency. Keep enough Gold or permanent resources for the next action.
After crossing, record the gate label and requirement as displayed. This provides better evidence than repeating a copied zone table and helps detect a future change.
Troubleshoot a score mismatch
If a score did not increase, confirm the pet is a genuinely new discovery in the correct base or variant tab. Reopen the panel once and compare the number. If inventory was full, verify that the acquisition actually completed.
If a badge does not appear at the threshold, check the official badge inventory, wait for the interface to refresh, and rejoin one current server. Do not fuse or reset again solely to force a notification.
If a gate rejects the displayed value, compare score type and formatting. Some counters may abbreviate large numbers, so open the detailed panel when available rather than estimating from a rounded HUD value.
