Variant records whether the discovery is normal, Shiny, Metallic, Giant, or Shiny Giant. Source identifies the egg, area, fusion outcome, or other visible acquisition route. Power reflects what the current UI displays for combat against crystals. Score state records which collection counter changed.

Do not collapse those fields into a single “best pet” label. A weaker new discovery can be valuable for Pet Score. A strong duplicate can improve the active team. A spare duplicate can be fusion material. A variant can advance a separate badge family even when its base species is already known. Before deleting, fusing, or replacing anything, decide which role the pet serves.

Follow the hatch-to-Dex route

Before hatching, open the collection panel and note the missing entries or score type you want to move. Read the egg’s live price and any visible pool information. Keep enough Gold for the number of hatches you intend to make and avoid spending the entire balance if you still need movement, damage, magnet, or area progress.

After the hatch, pause long enough to see the result. Check whether it is a new base pet, a duplicate, or a variant. Verify whether the game equips it automatically or leaves the working team unchanged. Then open the collection view and confirm which counter moved. That short check prevents a rare discovery from disappearing into a later bulk fusion.

When the inventory becomes crowded, sort by the field the interface supports—power, rarity, name, equipped state, or variant. Protect the active team and any unrecorded discovery. Move only eligible duplicates into the fusion flow and read the current preview. After the fusion, return to the Dex and note the output rather than assuming every batch behaves like the last one.

Compare rarity without inventing a tier list

Community egg and Giant references use a rarity progression that includes Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Prodigious, Ascended, and Mythical. The official description explicitly names Legendary and Mythical and says fusion reaches higher rarities. Treat the broader ordering as Community reported until the exact labels and order are visible in your server.

Rarity is only one decision input. A higher-rarity pet normally matters because it improves the team or unlocks collection progress, but the current power value, variant, acquisition cost, and future fusion use can change the practical choice. Compare what the UI reports. Do not import damage numbers from another pet simulator or an old screenshot.

If two pets look tied, equip each against similar crystals and compare target time, travel, and team behavior. Keep the one that improves the measured bottleneck. Preserve the other if it is a new discovery or needed for a known fusion batch. This makes the collection useful instead of merely large.

Connect pets to areas and progression

New areas can expose different eggs, upgrades, and crystal routes. Before buying an area unlock, check whether your current team can clear its targets efficiently and whether you can afford at least one useful action after entry. Rebirth and Ascension can affect how players think about permanent and temporary progress. Do not assume a pet or collection state survives either reset. Read the confirmation panel and use the Rebirth Guide or Ascension Guide to make a pre-reset record.

If a new pet did not appear in the Dex, verify that the hatch or fusion actually completed, that you are viewing the correct variant tab, and that the interface finished updating. If the team became weaker after inventory cleanup, use the equip-best control if available, then manually check whether protected or variant pets were excluded.
